A recall has been issued for several chocolate and yogurt-covered products.
This recall has been issued due to a potential “undeclared allergen” found in some of the products.
A release published to the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) website explains how California-based Cal Yee Farm LLC is pulling these products — along with their Tropical Trail Mix and Butter Toffee products — off shelves as they may contain “undeclared milk.”
“People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, soy, wheat, sesame, FD&C#6 and almonds run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” the release notes.
These products were distributed in nine states total, Pennsylvania among them. People with the allergies/sensitivities in question are strongly urged not to eat these foods, and to either dispose of or return them to the place of purchase in order to receive a full refund.
