
Some sweet treats in your pantry may contain allergens that you weren’t expecting.
On Tuesday, Call Yee Farm of California issued a recall of chocolate and yogurt-covered snacks after failing to disclose allergens.
The recall includes various products, such as Dark Chocolate Walnuts, Dark Chocolate Raising, Dark Chocolate Almonds, Yogurt Covered Almonds, and Dark Chocolate Apricots sold under the “Cal Yee’s” or “Cal Yee Farm” brands.
The recall also applies to Almonds, Mango with Chili, Hot Cajun Sesame Sticks, ew Orleans Hot Mix, Fruit Basket 2909, and Fruiit Basket 2921, sold under the “Cal Yee’s” and “Boa Vista Orchards” brands.
Products may contain undeclared allergens such as milk, soy, wheat, sesame, food dyes and colorings, and almonds, which may cause severe allergic reactions.
